Trial in a commercial dispute
In September 2014, Dan Persoff won at trial in the Long Beach court, successfully representing the landlord of a medical office building in a dispute with a doctor tenant. The court not only gave judgment for the landlord, but also awarded to the landlord its attorney’s fees and costs.
Trial in a trust contest: examples
In March of 2016, Dan Persoff won at trial in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, representing one of two sisters, defending against a claim by the other sister of undue influence as to the mother's trust.
In 2023, Dan Persoff with co-counsel Julia McBride won at trial in the Los Angeles County Superior Court representing a family who was left property in the estate of a neighbor and friend. The step-daughter of the deceased neighbor brought a law suit claiming undue influence and lack of capacity of the 100 year old neighbor. After a 10 day non-jury trial, the court rejected all claims and affirmed the right of the neighbors to inherit the property.
