Dan Persoff was raised in Tarzana, California. He is a graduate of Reseda High School and UC Davis, and a 1982 graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, where he was on the Dean’s List every semester.
Dan has been a litigation lawyer for over 30 years. Dan practiced in the area of business litigation for approximately 20 years, and has been involved in probate litigation for the last ten years, representing primarily corporate trustees in their trusts and estates matters.
Dan practiced for 12 years with now-retired Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James A. Steele, thereafter for seven years with now- retired attorney Thomas E. Stindt, probate and trust specialist. Dan has practiced primarily in the area of probate litigation since 2007.
In November 2014, Dan was the speaker at the San Gabriel Estate Planning Counsel meeting in Pasadena, California addressing issues pertaining to trust litigation.
At the firm of Higgins & Persoff, Dan continued his emphasis on representation of corporate trustees, including trust litigation, probate, and conservatorship matters. He is also active in representing clients in business litigation matters.
